We purchased this lot in 1995 because it had a thick hedge of wax myrtles and native vegetation on both sides of the property that when hollowed out made for an incredible private park with almost no views of either side neighbor. We were able to use several large trees to provide shade in the summer while still having ample open area for both a camp fire area and large sand pit for the kids. We have had three RVs plus several tents on the lot and still had room for a croquet field. The front of the lot is thick with brush except for the 20 foot driveway opening enhancing the privacy. In the front third of the lot sits a large spruce tree ideal for the hammock with a driveway on either side of the tree for additional RV parking. The middle third is an open grass area; we have used for games, barbeques, picnics and parking our trailer. There is power and water making extended stays a breeze. The back third of the lot is two tiered with the upper area having a large fire pit, tenting or additional picnic area and storage shed for all your toys. The lower tier on the back third starts with a 30 foot cedar log that is great for sitting followed by a sandy beach and walking area down to the water’s edge and the boat dock. The canal offers ample fresh water fun such as boating, fishing, canoeing, or just splashing in the shallows. The lot is a short 5 minute walk to the ocean and miles of beachcombing, yet we are far enough back to avoid the wind and storms in winter. All in all it is a very private refreshing place to go and let your stress evaporate.
